Introducing Urrora

Every organisation that holds customer data makes a promise, whether it says so or not: we will look after this. Keeping that promise has become harder. Data passes through browsers, networks, gateways, cloud services, applications and databases, and each one is another place it can leak.

Urrora exists to shrink that list. Our purpose is to reduce the amount of trust organisations are required to place in anyone, including us. Where trust cannot be removed, it should be visible, justified and earned through sound engineering.

Starting with the data itself

Our first product is the Cryptographic Capsule Layer (CCL). It seals sensitive information into a protected capsule at the point it is captured and keeps it sealed through every system that does not need to read it. Only the application you authorise opens it.

CCL is designed to fit around the systems you already run. You can start protecting data at the point your architecture supports today and extend that protection as it evolves.

Then the platform

CCL is the foundation, not the destination. Over time the Urrora platform will extend the same thinking into verifying controls, governance, supply-chain assurance, incident response and resilience. Each product will be judged against one question: which trust assumption does it remove?

Architecture over promises. Mathematics over assumption. Evidence over marketing.

We are speaking with organisations that want to shape CCL ahead of general availability. If that sounds like you, get in touch at info@urrora.com.

The breach that starts somewhere boring

Serious incidents rarely begin with a movie-style hack. They begin with a debug log, a forgotten test database or an over-privileged service account.
